The Worship and Creative Arts Ministry is at the core of all we do. When we come together in worship, we praise God for what He has done and is doing in our lives and the lives of others. We petition Him in prayer and hear His voice as we pray. We learn to live practically through the study of His Word. Worship really is a lifestyle. That is, we want to take what we experience in our hearts in a Worship Center setting and live that out in our lives each day. Worship is not a service or style; it’s a way of life.
Our approach is to make use of every available contemporary medium to teach God’s eternal truths and apply them to our daily lives, using music, dance, drama, testimonies, man on the street, video, or clips from popular movies. Ultimately, willing to do whatever it takes to communicate the message of Jesus Christ, even if that means laughing out loud, clapping to the music, or shedding a heartfelt tear or two.
We will lead out in our community, pioneering, risking, being on the front lines, a willingness to move out of the comfortable to claim new territory for God. Change is a positive spiritual value and expresses a believer’s commitment to remaining clay in the Potter’s hands.
There are many areas to our Worship and Creative Arts Ministry at Fairview Church, such as vocal and instrumental teams, drama, technical teams and preschool & children’s choirs.
