Jonathan has a BA from Boyce College, where he also taught preaching classes part time. He has received an MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently working on a PhD in Old Testament at Southern. He works as a theological review editor for CrossBooks, a division of Lifeway and writes for Baptist21. Jonathan is married to Ashley, and they have two beautiful girls, Maddy and Emma Grace.
Nic Gonzales

Born in Austin, TX, Nic spent his early years as a utility musician in church and started leading worship at the age of 15. This was just the start of a musical career and life he never saw coming. Gonzales’ parents have faithfully served the church in every position imaginable, so serving his home church (The King of Glory Church, Austin, TX) in a variety of ways was just everyday life for Nic. Nic is the front man of the award winning band Salvador. His music has taken him all over the world and landed him in middle Tennessee where he lives with his wife (Grammy Nominated singer Jaci Velasquez) and his two sons (aged 2 & 3). After 12 years of recording for WORD records (Nashville), Gonzales is poised to release a new record with his bandmates. Fairview is extremely excited to welcome Nic as the new praise and worship leader. Nic has 20 years of experience leading worship in the local church. Nic said of his new opportunity as Worship Leader at Fairview, “I am so happy to be part of a church and worship team that are impacting their community with the love of Jesus Christ.” This is the start of a new chapter for Fairview Church!

Chris has served as the Minister to Students at Fairview Church since 2005. He has been serving in Student Ministry for 17 years and has a heart for youth. He graduated from Georgetown College in 1994 where he met his wife Tracy. They have two wonderful children, Jordan and Kobe.
Becky Silvey
Children’s Minister

After years of serving as a preschool teacher and Children’s Ministry assistant at Fairview Church, Becky Silvey is now serving as Preschool and Children’s Minister. Becky received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Belmont University in 1987. She spent many years as a home schooling, stay-at-home mom to her four great kids, Jacob, Gabriel, Aaron and Olivia.
